The Rowley Water Department is pleased to announce that it has appointed Robert Gray as its new Superintendent.
Gray, who has 30 years of experience in water treatment and distribution systems, officially stepped into his new role on July 30.
Since 2014, he’s worked as Rowley Water’s Distribution Foreman. Prior to joining the Rowley Water Department, he was the Water Superintendent for the Town of Alton, and the Chief Water Treatment Operator for the City of Rochester.
“Bob has proven to be an invaluable member of the department,” Board of Water Commissioners Chairman Mark Emery said. “His extensive knowledge, work ethic and calm manner make him a pleasure to work with. We all are very excited to have Bob take on the role of Superintendent.”
